"Time and Tide" by Basia

I love me!  (I really do!)  I started this post month's ago (I'm writing this on 26-February-2020) and now I have NO memory of what I wanted this post to say!  But it is a fun photo I made above, I have NO idea where I was going with it.  Sigh!!!

Anyway, this was a special song for me, one of the epic ones.  Life certainly took it's course.

I can't even wrap my head around the concept that the live TV video was from Johnny Carson

"Enjoy the Silence" by Depeche Mode

A very old splice didn't hold
I was rewinding this old tape and a really, really old splice let loose.  And just for the record this has nothing to do with Depeche Mode, they were a decade or two after this tape.

"I Am Enough" by Daphne Willis

A beautiful LGBTQ Ballet

A perfect song and ballet for Coming Out Day!  It made me cry, even more so when the two girls kissed.  Made me SO happy!!

It is very hard to feel like you are enough, especially when you are a trans-lesbian.

"Runaround Girl" by The Portraits

At the Walk of No Shame

I was playing an old reel-to-reel tape with some recordings from the radio, I would guess sometime in the 60's, and it had this song.

But this song reminds me one of the speakers at the "Walk of No Shame" event last week, talked about how the definition in the dictionary, of Stud and Slut are exactly the same.  If you're a boy/man with multiple partners, you are a "stud" and that's cool.  If you're a girl/woman and you have multiple partners you are a "slut" and viewed with disgust.
