I'm a transgender woman who has loved music for as long as I can remember. My earliest memories are of sitting on the floor and listening to 45's and 78's. Music is the essential part of my life. My councilor said in a message tonight "Might as well live it up!" and it reminded me of this song. Great lyrics and still apropo today.
