I'm a transgender woman who has loved music for as long as I can remember. My earliest memories are of sitting on the floor and listening to 45's and 78's. Music is the essential part of my life. "Route 66" by Depeche Mode

Since the Cadillac Ranch appears in the one video for this song (at about time 2:38), I decided to include my photos of our visit there.

I remember thinking how cool it was when Depeche Mode came out with this song. I was still working in the Graphics Workstation department at Evans & Sutherland. I remember talking to my friend John Byer about it and he commented that somebody (I can't remember who, probably the composer?) was rolling over in their grave.

Anyway, I haven't heard some of these versions before, they are awesome! I love the video with the woman walking...
