Note to self: DON'T stand in front of a coffee shop on State Street in a skirt and high heels, some people will get the wrong impression!  And some people don't seem to able to take no for an answer and will chase you all over South Salt Lake...
It actually happened yesterday.  I guess it's all part of the "Total Woman Experience" (TM).  I was actually scared enough that I called 9-1-1.  My guess is that men experience that terror far less often than women do.

Anyway I was thinking about the song "Can't Stop Killing You" by Kirsty MacColl as it depicts that fear pretty well.  However, I already posted it in my previous blog on 4-Nov-2012 (when I was still pretending to be something I'm not: a man).

"Gonna Get Over You" by Sara Bareilles

I'm really lovin' Sara Bareilles, here's another song I love and another great video!  I love all the colors that come flying out as she comes dancing down the aisle toward the end.  And the ending where she is making the other customers uncomfortable is hilarious!

I didn't know was Sara Bareilles until I was watching "Brave" and clicked on one of the suggested links.  Another great song and video!!  She is so pretty, I love to watch her singing!!

Wow!  Today is the 4th anniversary of KCQN!  Who'd a thunk?  Anyway, I thought I would post some classic New Wave song to celebrate.  Once again I can't imagine that I haven't posted any songs by The Smiths!?!  I could've sworn I posted at least one, I even have a vague memory of watching a Smiths' video.
