I'm a transgender woman who has loved music for as long as I can remember. My earliest memories are of sitting on the floor and listening to 45's and 78's. Music is the essential part of my life. "Put a Light in the Window" by The Four Lads

I was watching "The Gilmore Girls" tonight and something somebody said reminded me of this song. This was one of my favorite songs from my early childhood. I remember my mom playing their Greatest Hits album downstairs at the house on 7th Street in Ogden.
