I'm a transgender woman who has loved music for as long as I can remember. My earliest memories are of sitting on the floor and listening to 45's and 78's. Music is the essential part of my life. "Laura Lee" by Wayne Newton

I'm trying to remember if this is an off to war song? I can't really remember when the Vietnam War started... hmm, looking at the Wikipedia entry it started in the 50's and escalated in the early 60's. Wow! So this is likely a song about going off to war.

Of course there is a song that describes how I feel about war, which I posted on 30-Dec-2014.
