I'm a transgender woman who has loved music for as long as I can remember. My earliest memories are of sitting on the floor and listening to 45's and 78's. Music is the essential part of my life. I love the lyrics to this song from Wayne Newton's "Red Roses for a Blue Lady" album. Hard to believe this was 50 years ago.

This is a good example of music that makes me feel something real, which I contend makes it great art/music.
