Note: I am finishing this post over a year later (28-Apr-2019), this time I do remember what had happened. I had started crying in the parking lot while I was talking to her. I later told Sherri I was embarrassed by that.
Later I realized that having been raised as a boy and hearing that boys don't cry had been indoctrinated in me. But I AM a fucking girl, it's my fucking party and I can fucking cry if I want to!!!
