"The Shadow of Your Smile" by Manhattan Jazz Orchestra

This morning I was listening to this old cassette that I copied from a reel-to-reel tape that originated in the original HiFi Shop in Ogden, Utah (infamously the site of the HiFi Shop Murders).  I talked about these tapes years ago in my post on 5-Aug-2011.

The version of this song is just so smooth and dreamy, I love it.  But I have no way of identifying the artist(s).  I've tried many times and Shazam just doesn't work on old, non hit tracks like the ones on these tapes.

So I found this version by the Manhattan Jazz Orchestra, it is very nice.  I like it.  The version on the cassette has a very nice saxophone solo, so I've added the Boots Randolph and the Dexter Gordon Quartet for some nice sax sounds.

Stephen Colbert "Long Ties, Big Lies And Made Up Crowd Size: The Sean Spicer Story".  There are some great one liners in this, like "Sillier than the POTUS tweeting out whatever turd floats to the top of the old punchbowl".
