I'm a transgender woman who has loved music for as long as I can remember. My earliest memories are of sitting on the floor and listening to 45's and 78's. Music is the essential part of my life. Over the years I made many attempts to make a list of my favorite music. In 2011 I came up with the idea of http://scotts-vital-music.blogspot.com and creating the list by posting a song every day. When I transitioned in 2015 and changed my name I created this blog to continue the project...

"Anxious In Venice" by Superhumanoids
My BFF Carri had her first "Newer New Wave" show on 103.1 The Wave earlier tonight. I really enjoyed it, I really liked every one of the Newer Wave songs she played. I had a hard time deciding which one to post tonight.
I finally decided this one stood out with a female vocal and after I watched the video I was sold. I absolutely loved it! I've watched the video like 8 times now, it's awesome!
Not only does the lead singer's hair look a lot like mine many days, but she really looks like I feel sometimes. Actually, I can TOTALLY relate to this song and video. Some days I so want to escape!!

Of course one of the things I really want to escape from is the constant shit show from Cheeto Voldemort. Here is a Finnish skit (with subtitles) that is pretty funny:

Update 5-Mar-2017:
The band's website is here: http://www.superhumanoids.com/ and they are a trio consisting of: Sarah Chernoff the lead singer, Max St. John synth programmer and Cameron Parkins.
