"The Sound of Crying" by Prefab Sprout

I saw this story this morning on why Paul Ryan and other republicans hate the poor:

I can believe that!  This belief in God and using it to justify all sorts of bullshit is so annoying!  I remember back when the AIDS epidemic came out and the cries that it was God punishing gay people.  Utter nonsense!

I was telling SueZQ about the article and she told me about her recent thoughts about morality.  She says that when you do something to help others and improve humanity, that is a moral act.  When you do things that harm other human beings to satisfy your own desires, that is an immoral act.

I heard "Appetite" by Prefab Sprout on 103.1 The Wave a little while ago and remembered what a great song that is. Unfortunately, once again, I already posted it 5 years ago on 6-Mar-2012.

But then I remembered this great song, which is much more timely.  It's probably even more relevant now that when Paddy wrote it over 30 years ago.
